Every year (usually 1st or 2nd week of June) Terry Berries holds Jam Berry Day. On this day (they) cut the tops off of all the strawberries and sell them for a dollar by the pound (bring your own container). Towards the end of the season hot weather causes the strawberries to ripen faster and become softer. These berries are so soft and juicy they are impossible to ship to other cities and states. (They) decided to start selling these juicy fruits to everyone at an affordable price! They start passing out fliers at the stand a few weeks before.
